The SBB Xs storage cars could be seen in nearly every bigger trainstation of Switzerland and also in construction trains or depots.
The cars based on older used SBB Gs covered freight cars. Through several reconstructions, repaintings and weathering each car is different fron the others.
Based on the Märklin model 8605 a series of 25 car will be released in 2009.
New lettering and new steps and brake disks of etched steel are additional to the basic model.
Painted repair patches and light weathering make the model closer to the prototype.
